On this excursion you will hear about the history of the Ukrainian Cossacks, Ivan Mazepa’s nephew in Hamburg, where and how the Klitschko brothers trained, the influence of Hamburg on Ukrainian architecture. You will also find out what Ilya Mechnikov did in Hamburg, what our ancestors called the Elbe River, which Ukrainian scientist invented the cholera vaccine and who taught the whole of Europe to drink coffee. The excursion is created in an easy form, without “boring facts”. You will hear many things for the first time. This tour will make Hamburg a little more home to you. At the end of the tour, as a thank you, you can leave a tip.
